Kilbeggan Organic Food

kilbeggan organic jumbo oats

From Irish fields to gentle skincare.

We use Kilbeggan Oats for one simple reason: they’re trusted, time-honoured, and grown with care in the heart of Ireland. Long known for their nourishing qualities, oats are a quiet hero in natural skincare—soothing, softening, and kind to even the most sensitive skin.

Colloidal oats are scientifically proven to help calm irritation and support the skin barrier, which is why they’ve been used for centuries to relieve dryness and discomfort. By choosing Kilbeggan Oats, we’re keeping things close to home and supporting Irish growers who value quality just as much as we do.

It’s a humble ingredient, done properly—bringing comfort, calm, and a touch of Irish goodness to every bar.

Why Them: “They practice regenerative agriculture, raising their cattle on open, pesticide-free grass pastures.  Their oats are grown and milled with respect for tradition, quality, and the land—making them the perfect, skin-loving ingredient for our soaps. When we choose Kilbeggan Oats, we’re choosing integrity, craftsmanship, and care in every bar.

Glenisk goat milk

‘fresh goats’ milk and yogurt

Why Glenisk Goat Milk?
We choose Glenisk goat milk because it’s truly local and thoughtfully produced. Glenisk is a cooperative of dedicated local goat farmers who care deeply about their animals, their land, and the quality of their milk. The milk is gently pasteurised to preserve its natural integrity and goodness, ensuring it remains rich, nourishing, and kind to skin. It’s this careful balance of tradition, collaboration, and care that makes Glenisk goat milk such a perfect ingredient in our soaps.

From rescued animals to nourishing Ireland—goats’ dairy with heart, heritage, and a gentler touch.

A rescue donkey, two rescue goats and a series of co-incidences led to Glenisk’s association with goats’ dairy.   Almost 30 years later, fresh goats’ milk and yogurt is a daily staple for many in Ireland. Loved for its mild taste and sustainable farming, customers who are sensitive to cows’ milk praise Glenisk goats’ dairy for alleviating symptoms of asthma, eczema and digestive complaints.

Quarrymount Free Range Meats

Well-kept animals. Honest ingredients.

We partner with Quarrymount Organic Meats because their approach lets us transform something traditional into something exceptional: organic, grass-fed tallow of the highest quality. This is tallow done right—nutrient-rich, sustainably re-purposed, and deeply rooted in Irish farming heritage.

At the heart of Quarrymount is Ray Dunne, a local farmer whose respect for the land and unwavering commitment to animal welfare is evident at every stage of farming. That care carries through into the tallow we use—clean, ethical, and traceable from field to finished soap and skincare.

You’ll find Ray each Saturday at the Tullamore Food Fayre, chatting with customers and keeping food production refreshingly transparent. It’s this combination of integrity, community connection, and uncompromising quality that makes Quarrymount organic tallow an essential ingredient in our soaps and balms—because better farming makes better skincare.

Certified Organic Since January 2025.

Quarrymount Freerange Meats has become a Certified Organic Beef and Cereal producer, enhancing quality and commitment to you.

The cattle graze in a natural outdoor environment and the best quality early-maturing animals are selected for sale to our many customers at various farmers markets. The beef is traditionally ‘dry-aged’ in order to deliver customers a tender and flavoursome piece of beef.
