Hi, I’m Annmarie, the founder and maker behind Luna Skincare.
Luna began with a simple goal: to find a natural solution that could support my son’s eczema-prone skin. Already working with soap, I started incorporating goat milk into my formulations and soon saw a noticeable improvement. That experience opened the door to a deeper appreciation for traditional skincare and time-honoured ingredients.
I went on to study natural skincare formulation, earning my diploma, and now create small-batch balms using organic, grass-fed tallow. Rich in vitamins and deeply nourishing, this ingredient forms the heart of my products. Each batch is carefully rendered by hand to ensure exceptional purity and quality.

Tallow is incredibly rich in skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, K, and B12, and its fatty acid profile closely mirrors the natural oils found in human skin. This makes it highly bioavailable, meaning it absorbs beautifully without clogging pores. The result? Skin that feels hydrated, soothed, and truly cared for.

We are proud to render our tallow by hand, in-house, using traditional slow methods that preserve its natural benefits. Our tallow comes from local farmers and regenerative agriculture suppliers, ensuring complete transparency, minimal waste, and respectful use of the whole animal.
